Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam — Contesting all 234 constituencies
Thalapathy Vijay, one of Tamil cinema's most beloved icons, made the bold decision to step away from the silver screen and enter public life — not for power, but for purpose.
On February 2, 2024, Vijay founded Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) with a single mission: to build a Tamil Nadu where every citizen lives with dignity, opportunity, and safety. His ideology is rooted in secular social justice, inspired by Ambedkar, Periyar, and Kamaraj.
In 2026, TVK contests all 234 Assembly constituencies — a bold debut from a party that believes ordinary people make extraordinary leaders.
Not hollow promises — an oath sworn by 234 candidates on stage. TVK's manifesto is a contract with the people of Tamil Nadu.
TVK has fielded 234 candidates — ordinary citizens from simple families committed to extraordinary change. As Vijay said: "The experience of living honestly among the people is more valuable than any political career."
Tamil Nadu is at a crossroads. The choice is yours. Stand with Vijay, stand with TVK — and help build the Tamil Nadu every citizen deserves. Blow the whistle for change!
